Graduate Nurse – Spring 2027 (January – May 2027)

Role Overview:

This position is for new graduate nurses entering their first RN role, providing direct patient care, assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established standards.
The nurse will educate patients and families on managing health, use critical thinking to evaluate needs, develop and modify care plans collaboratively, and promote patient safety and quality care. This is a safety-sensitive role requiring alertness and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities include:

  • Educating patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication use.
  • Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients.
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans with the healthcare team.
  • Evaluating patient responses and adjusting care accordingly.
  • Participating in safety, quality, and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
  • Must obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation to remain employed.
