Graduate Nurse – Spring 2027 (January – May 2027)

The Graduate Nurse provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
They will assist patients in managing their illnesses, educate families on post-treatment needs, and collaborate with healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans.
Critical thinking skills are essential for evaluating patient needs and modifying care accordingly.
Participation in safety and quality initiatives, professional development, and adherence to standards are key duties.
Note: This role requires obtaining licensure within 90 days of graduation to practice in Missouri.

• Educates patients and families on health management and medication use.
• Uses critical thinking to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
• Develops and implements care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Evaluates patient responses and adjusts care plans as needed.
• Participates in safety, quality, and regulatory compliance activities.
• Engages in ongoing professional growth.

• Minimum: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
• Preferred: Licensure within 90 days of graduation; ability to work safely in alertness.
