Geriatric Psychiatry RN (Full-Time) (Rotating)

Role Overview:

This position involves providing direct patient care for adults aged 50+ in a supportive behavioral health setting, focusing on assessments, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, medication, and post-treatment needs.

Participate in activities that ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development.

Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and families.

Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, spiritual, and population-specific factors.

Work in a safety-sensitive environment requiring constant alertness.

Qualifications & Skills:

Licensed RN with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
Basic clinical experience; 2+ years of experience preferred.
Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills.
