Seeking a general surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site surgical services during a 4-hour weekly or biweekly shift.
Responsibilities include managing medically complex patients, supporting return to work and functional restoration, and collaborating with medical and therapy providers on orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. You will also communicate with employers and participate in case management.
Qualifications:
– Experience with work-related injuries preferred
– Active medical license and unrestricted DEA license
– Board Certified or Eligible in General Surgery
– Graduate of an accredited MD or DO program
– Must have medical malpractice insurance
