Seeking a general surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site surgical services during approximately a 4-hour weekly or biweekly shift.
Responsibilities include managing medically complex patients, supporting return to work, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. You will communicate with employers and participate in case management, making a positive impact on patient recovery.
Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, state licensure, MD or DO degree, unrestricted DEA license, board certification or eligibility in General Surgery, and malpractice insurance. This flexible role complements your practice with compensation based on a revenue share model.
