Seeking a general surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site services for approximately a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly.
Responsibilities include managing medically complex patients, facilitating return to work, and offering both surgical and non-surgical orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal care.
Collaborate with medical and therapy teams, communicate with employers, and participate in case management to improve patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
• Experience with work-related injuries preferred
• State licensure, MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Unrestricted DEA license
• Board Certification or Eligibility in General Surgery
• Medical malpractice insurance coverage
