The full-time General Anesthesiologist will provide anesthesia services across multiple outpatient surgical centers in Virginia Beach, supervising registered nurse anesthetists and mentoring trainees.
Responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, administering general and regional anesthesia, monitoring vital signs, managing airway and post-operative care, and ensuring patient safety. The role involves collaborating with surgical teams, maintaining records, and adjusting anesthetic plans as needed.
Qualifications require a medical degree, board certification or eligibility in anesthesiology, VA medical license, and at least 3 years of high-acuity anesthesia experience.
