Full-time General Anesthesiologist position in Virginia Beach, VA, reporting to Dr. James Oleksa, with supervisory responsibilities.
Provide anesthesia at multiple surgical centers, including patient evaluation, plan development, and post-op care. Administer and monitor general and regional anesthesia, manage pain, and adjust intraoperative plans. Supervise nurse anesthetists, mentor interns, and ensure patient safety throughout procedures. Perform venous/arterial punctures, airway management, and monitor vital signs. Maintain detailed records, order tests, and communicate with patients and staff. Requirements include MD/DO, BC/BE in anesthesiology, VA license, 3+ years experience, and strong regional skills.
