Role Overview: This position involves providing comprehensive banking support, including teller and platform services, to ensure efficient customer transactions and account management. Key duties encompass processing financial transactions, opening deposit and savings accounts, cross-selling bank products, assisting with loan applications, and maintaining compliance with banking regulations.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing daily financial transactions such as deposits, currency handling, and check cashing.
- Opening and processing new demand and time deposit accounts, including savings, IRAs, and certificates of deposit.
- Identifying client needs through consultative conversations and recommending suitable products and services.
- Cross-selling and referring clients to bank partners to generate new business and deepen relationships.
- Conducting outbound calls to clients and prospects, especially during campaigns.
- Assisting clients with loan applications and ensuring proper processing by relevant staff.
- Researching and resolving client account issues, delivering excellent client service.
- Supporting daily operations at banking centers, including audit controls and training new associates.
- Staying informed of operational updates to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- High school diploma or GED; experience as a Teller preferred.
- Strong customer service, communication, and sales skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic office equipment.
- Ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily; substitution with equivalent education and experience acceptable.
- Attention to detail, operational efficiency, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to meet background and licensing requirements, including credit checks and compliance with banking regulations.
