Full Time – Respiratory Therapist

Role: The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including ABG analysis, PFTs, ventilator support, oxygen therapy, bronchial hygiene, and airway maintenance. They assess and treat both adults and neonates, operating under indirect medical supervision and adhering to departmental policies.


Responsibilities: Conducts respiratory therapies such as oxygen administration, aerosol therapy, airway maintenance, and mechanical ventilation. Performs diagnostic procedures like arterial blood gases, pulmonary function tests, and electrocardiograms. Interprets patient data, including CXR, ABG, and PFT results. Assembles, maintains, and troubleshoots cardiopulmonary equipment. Participates in infection control, safety, and quality assurance tasks. Ensures proper cleaning and maintenance of equipment and work areas. Uses effective communication to improve patient satisfaction.


Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program, with current BLS and ACLS certifications. Must obtain NRP and PALS within one year. Licensed in good standing as a Respiratory Care Practitioner and registered by the NBRC. Preferred at least 6 months of experience, but new graduates are encouraged to apply. Proficient in critical thinking, equipment operation, and patient assessment.
