Full-Time Respiratory Care Supervisor

Role Overview

Under the supervision of the Manager, the Supervisor Respiratory Care co-manages unit activities, interprets policies, and performs duties across respiratory capacities.
Demonstrates proficiency in delivering age-specific patient care (infants to geriatrics) and participates in ongoing education.
The position requires leadership in coordinating respiratory services to ensure quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Co-manage and coordinate respiratory care unit functions
  • Interpret policies, procedures, and standards
  • Supervise staff and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Deliver care to diverse patient populations
  • Participate in continuing education to maintain proficiency

Qualifications & Skills

  • Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care
  • Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License
  • American Heart Association BLS certification; ACLS and PALS within 90 days
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical experience
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of management experience
