Role Overview
Under the supervision of the Manager, the Supervisor Respiratory Care co-manages unit activities, interprets policies, and performs duties across respiratory capacities.
Demonstrates proficiency in delivering age-specific patient care (infants to geriatrics) and participates in ongoing education.
The position requires leadership in coordinating respiratory services to ensure quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Co-manage and coordinate respiratory care unit functions
- Interpret policies, procedures, and standards
- Supervise staff and ensure compliance with regulations
- Deliver care to diverse patient populations
- Participate in continuing education to maintain proficiency
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate’s Degree in Respiratory Care
- Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License
- American Heart Association BLS certification; ACLS and PALS within 90 days
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree and 3 years of management experience
