Role: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) responsible for performing therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory procedures, including ABG, PFTs, ventilator support, oxygen therapy, bronchial hygiene, and airway maintenance. They assess and treat both adults and neonates, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities: Conduct respiratory therapies, interpret diagnostic data, assemble and troubleshoot equipment, and perform physical assessments. Maintain equipment, adhere to safety protocols, and participate in infection control and quality assurance. Utilize critical thinking to evaluate patient needs and improve satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program, current BLS and ACLS certifications, Texas licensure, NBRC registration, and minimum six months of experience. Ability to interpret CXR, ABG, and PFT data, and proficiency with respiratory equipment and patient assessment.
