Role Overview:
This position involves providing direct patient care in a 43-bed Med/Surg unit, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. The role promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment needs, and medication administration. Responsibilities include developing and documenting individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team, and ensuring effective communication across care continuum. Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree with RN licensure
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and 2+ years of experience
- Must hold an active RN license
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
