The Cath Lab CVT is responsible for monitoring all diagnostic and interventional coronary and peripheral catheterization procedures, ensuring patient safety and working as a scrub assistant under the direction of the supervisor.
Qualifications include:
- An Associate’s Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Radiologic Technology, or Respiratory Therapy, or a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
- RCIS or RCES certification required within 12 months of hire.
- Licensure options include FL Certified Radiologic Technologist or FL Registered Respiratory Therapist, with preferred ARRT certification.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Skills and requirements: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English, with additional training or experience in cardiovascular procedures.
