Role Overview: This fellowship offers advanced training in Head & Neck Oncologic Surgery and Microvascular Reconstruction, focusing on complex operative cases and surgical techniques.
Responsibilities: Perform major head and neck ablative surgeries, microvascular reconstructions, TOLMS/TORS, skull base, craniofacial, trauma, and skin cancer procedures. Participate in thyroid/parathyroid surgeries, assist faculty, and provide intraoperative resident teaching. Limited research and case selection autonomy are included.
Qualifications & Skills: Medical license in California is required. Candidates should have surgical expertise in advanced head and neck procedures, with a focus on reconstructive and ablative techniques.
Key Duties: Assist in surgeries, choose cases with minimal oversight, contribute to resident education, and gain broad operative experience in a collaborative environment. No clinic or call duties are involved.
Additional Information: Compensation ranges from $90,000 to $104,000, with benefits including retirement, health insurance, CME funds, relocation assistance, malpractice and life insurance, and potential loan repayment programs. Residency in California is required.
