Role Overview:
This is a full-time faculty position in Family Medicine, focused on educating residents and medical students through outpatient clinics, inpatient newborn nursery supervision, and academic activities. The faculty member maintains a personal patient panel, supervises inpatient rounds, participates in didactic sessions, and engages in scholarly projects. Responsibilities include remote supervision of after-hours clinic calls, contributing to program committees, and providing evaluations of learners. Opportunities may exist for occasional adult inpatient coverage if qualified.
Qualifications:
Candidates must hold an MD or DO, be board-certified in Family Medicine, possess a valid medical license, and have experience in outpatient and inpatient care of diverse patient populations, including newborns. Inpatient obstetrics coverage is not required but privileges in adult inpatient medicine are necessary if interested. Certification in ACLS and NRP is required, and candidates should be eligible for hospital privileges.
