Role: Expanded Services Dental Assistant
Responsibilities include:
- Providing chairside assistance for expanded dental procedures
- Preparing and maintaining treatment rooms to ensure cleanliness and readiness
- Ensuring proper sterilization and infection control protocols
- Taking radiographs and assisting with impressions and basic lab tasks as permitted by law
- Documenting accurate patient records
- Educating patients on treatment plans and oral health
- Managing patient flow to enhance clinical efficiency and patient satisfaction
- Collaborating with team members to support high-quality, patient-centered care
Qualifications and Skills:
- Dental assisting certification or relevant experience in dental assisting
- Knowledge of sterilization, infection control, and radiography
- Ability to perform basic lab procedures and take accurate radiographs
- Strong communication and patient education skills
- Team-oriented with a focus on clinical efficiency and patient satisfaction
