Role Overview
The position involves providing emergency medical transportation and patient care following EMT protocols. Responsibilities include safely transporting patients, assessing and communicating their conditions, and documenting medical histories and treatments in detailed reports.
Qualifications & Skills
- Current or pending EMT National Registry and/or state license
- Ability to deliver medical care and transport patients at EMT or Paramedic level
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, capable of operating in various conditions
- Successful completion of pre-employment interview, physical, lifting exam, and drug screening
- Completion of company-provided training and driving course
Key Duties
- Provide patient care adhering to EMT training and protocols
- Transport patients safely, navigating routes accurately
- Assess and communicate patient conditions to medical professionals
- Maintain detailed documentation of patient history, condition, and treatment
