Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards.
- Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, home care, and medications.
- Participate in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, along with ongoing professional development.
- Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans with clear goals, collaborating with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, cultural, and spiritual factors.
- Work safely and maintain alertness, as this is a safety-sensitive role.
Qualifications & Skills
- Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- RN license required; no prior experience necessary, but 2+ years of experience is preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient education skills.
Key Duties
- Assess and prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced emergency setting.
- Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality care.
