Paramedic role in a fast-paced Emergency Department providing advanced emergency care.
Key duties:
- Perform rapid patient assessment, triage, and emergency interventions under physician and RN direction.
- Initiate IV access, administer approved medications, and obtain EKGs.
- Support airway management and provide appropriate emergency treatment.
- Safely transport patients within the facility as needed.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and document care in the EMR.
- Maintain readiness of emergency equipment and supplies.
- Uphold standards of safety, compassion, and patient-centered care.
- Continuously grow through ongoing training.
Qualifications/skills: Ability to deliver advanced pre-hospital and in-hospital emergency care, work effectively in high-acuity environments, perform key clinical procedures (IVs, medications, EKGs, airway support), and maintain accurate EMR documentation.
