Role Overview: The Pharmacist ensures safe, effective, evidence-based medication use within the healthcare institution. They verify medication orders, provide clinical pharmaceutical care, and make patient-centered therapy recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee pharmacy technicians and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Prevent, detect, and resolve medication-related problems; educate patients and staff on medication use. Participate in quality improvement, safety initiatives, and development of clinical guidelines. Conduct medication distribution with a focus on safety, efficiency, and teamwork. Support education and professional development of pharmacy staff and other healthcare disciplines. Engage in continuous self-development, attend educational activities, and participate in professional organizations. Comply with all policies, standards, and regulations.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum of 2 years in pharmacy (technician, intern, or pharmacist preferred).
Licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPH) is required.
