Role Overview: The Emergency Department RN FSED provides high-quality, patient-centered care at a fast-paced facility, collaborating with medical teams to assess, perform, teach, and manage patient needs. They respond promptly to patient requests, perform procedures, document care thoroughly, and educate patients and families on medical conditions, treatments, and lifestyle changes.
Key Responsibilities: Assess and manage patient pain, execute provider-ordered procedures, respond proactively to patient needs, and teach on health management and follow-up care.
Qualifications & Skills: RN license with associate or bachelor’s degree. Certifications include BLS, ACLS (within 90 days), PALS, and Trauma Nursing Core Course (within 1 year). ED experience preferred. Strong communication, compassion, and teamwork skills are essential.
