Role Overview: The position involves conducting design feasibility and cost analysis, strength calculations, material selection, and overseeing prototyping and manufacturing activities.
Effective communication with suppliers, factories, and internal teams is essential to ensure components meet layout, quality, cost, performance, and regulatory standards. Travel may be required to various facilities and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft engineering solutions, drawings, and 3D layouts; assess feasibility, costs, quality, and performance.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to confirm designs and present findings to teams, manufacturers, and suppliers.
- Prepare evaluation documents, manage projects and suppliers, and conduct market studies on new technologies.
- Engage in continuous self-improvement and training.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 0-6 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in CATIA V5, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.
Working Conditions: Primarily sedentary with some standing and walking; occasional overtime and travel to facilities and suppliers.
