Diagnostic Radiology Technologist – Weekender Rotation

Role Overview: Responsible for performing diagnostic radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, administering radiation safely, and assisting licensed practitioners.

Key Responsibilities: Obtain correct orders, identify patients, prepare them for exams, and ensure proper documentation. Use appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and adhere to ALARA principles to maximize safety. Evaluate image quality, verify data transfer, and assist with fluoroscopic procedures in various settings. Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, and prepare or administer medications as prescribed.

Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program, with a requirement for new graduates to obtain ARRT-R registry within six months. Ability to perform a full range of radiographic procedures and work independently. Strong attention to detail, patient safety focus, and good communication skills are essential.
