Diagnostic Radiology Technologist – Per Diem

Role Overview: Responsible for performing standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, operating related equipment, and maintaining accurate records.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducts radiological and fluoroscopic procedures with proper patient positioning, identification, and exposure techniques.
  • Operates all equipment within the modality proficiently.
  • Prepares and adjusts immobilization and radiation protective devices.
  • Analyzes patient body characteristics and suspected pathology to optimize examinations.
  • Assists physicians during various procedures.
  • Reports equipment malfunctions and coordinates necessary repairs.
  • Maintains detailed records and documentation.
  • Supports Quality Assurance/Quality Control activities.
  • Participates in training and educational activities for students.

The work is performed primarily in a clinical setting, with accountability for adhering to policies and procedures. The role requires a graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology. The position emphasizes a collaborative environment focused on safety, excellence, learning, and innovation.
