Diagnostic Radiology Technologist – Full Time – Evenings

Role Overview:
The Radiologic Technologist I performs diagnostic and fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and image quality. They prepare patients, verify orders, and utilize appropriate imaging protocols while adhering to ALARA principles. Responsibilities include administering medications, evaluating images, and assisting licensed practitioners in various radiologic procedures, including outside the radiology department. They also educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.

Qualifications & Skills:
Candidates must graduate from a radiologic technology program and obtain ARRT-R certification within six months. The role may involve advancing to a higher level based on skills and experience. Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures, attention to detail, and commitment to patient care are essential.

Key Duties:

  • Ensure proper patient identification and preparation for exams.
  • Optimize imaging protocols for safety and quality.
  • Assist with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures.
  • Prepare and administer medications as prescribed.
  • Evaluate images for accuracy and quality.
  • Support education of students and healthcare team members.
