Diagnostic Radiology Technologist – Evening Shift

Role Overview: Responsible for performing standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiological and fluoroscopic procedures using proper patient positioning, identification, and exposure techniques.
  • Operate all equipment within the modality proficiently.
  • Set up and adjust immobilization and radiation protection devices.
  • Analyze patient characteristics such as body size, physical condition, and suspected pathology to ensure optimal examination quality.
  • Assist physicians with various procedures.
  • Report equipment malfunctions and recommend repairs or adjustments.
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation.
  • Participate in Quality Assurance/Quality Control activities.
  • Contribute to the educational training of students.

Qualifications & Skills: Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology. Ability to work in a clinical environment, adhere to policies, and demonstrate teamwork and communication skills. Knowledge of equipment operation and patient safety protocols is essential.
