Diagnostic Radiology Technologist – Days

Role: Radiologic Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic, therapeutic, and research radiographic procedures, including fluoroscopy, while ensuring patient safety and image quality.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain correct orders, properly identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history respectfully.
  • Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.
  • Prepare and administer medications via vascular access as prescribed.
  • Evaluate images for proper positioning and quality, ensuring proper data storage and transfer.
  • Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
  • Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures, including outside the radiology department.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (required).
  • New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months.
  • Ability to perform a full scope of radiographic procedures independently or assist licensed practitioners.
  • Strong attention to safety, patient care, and technical accuracy.
