Role Overview:
The Dental Hygienist is a key clinical team member responsible for providing exceptional patient care, preventive treatments, and oral health education. They work independently within a supported practice, maintaining clinical autonomy while delivering high-quality dental services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, screenings, and patient education.
- Utilize digital tools such as digital x-rays, scanners, and diagnostic devices.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical and dental records.
- Participate in ongoing education and mentorship programs to enhance skills.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current dental hygienist license and relevant degrees (Associate’s or Bachelor’s).
- Knowledge of dental procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation.
- CPR certification.
- Preferred: 1+ years of clinical experience and familiarity with digital and diagnostic tools.
- Physical ability to perform duties, including sitting, standing, and lifting up to 45 pounds.
Additional Requirements:
- Availability for periodic training and TB testing as per safety protocols.
