Responsibilities include:
- Performing recare (60 min) and new patient (90 min) dental hygiene procedures
- Utilizing dental technology such as Velscope, digital scanners, and x-rays
- Documenting patient medical histories and screening
- Supporting preventive care and patient education
- Maintaining high standards of clinical care with quality supplies and lab support
Qualifications:
- Current dental hygienist license in Missouri
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene
- Knowledge of dental procedures, patient screening, and medical documentation
- CPR certification
- Preferred experience with digital and electronic record systems
Skills and physical requirements:
- Ability to perform essential duties, including prolonged sitting and standing, lifting up to 45 pounds
- Availability for periodic training sessions
- Commitment to maintaining a safe environment, including tuberculosis testing
