Data Science Senior Associate

Role Overview: This position involves performing advanced statistical, economic, and financial analyses to address significant policy and business challenges for diverse clients. The role includes developing complex algorithms, manipulating large datasets, and enhancing mathematical models to simulate impacts of decisions and policies. Crafting clear, insightful reports and presentations that communicate technical findings to non-specialists is essential, along with maintaining professionalism and integrity.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct quantitative analyses on economic, regulatory, and policy issues for public and private sector clients globally.
  • Develop and implement computer algorithms to process data, automate tasks, and support modeling efforts.
  • Create and refine models to predict effects of policy changes or business strategies.
  • Handle large datasets, applying innovative problem-solving techniques.
  • Produce professional reports and presentations, translating complex findings into accessible insights.
  • Draft technical and non-technical memoranda, ensuring clarity and value for clients.
  • Uphold a respectful, ethical work environment with a strong sense of personal responsibility.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • At least three years of relevant experience in quantitative advisory projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics, mathematics, computer science, or related fields; Master’s or higher preferred.
  • Proficiency with data analysis software such as STATA, SAS, Python, SQL, or R.
  • Experience managing large datasets, financial and statistical analyses, and economic modeling.
  • Knowledge of data science, machine learning, and LLM-based solutions.
  • Creative problem-solving skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance.
