Role Overview: Provides direct patient care in a critical care unit, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Promoting patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management and post-treatment needs.
- Participating in activities that ensure patient safety, quality care, and regulatory compliance.
- Developing, implementing, and documenting individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
- Maintaining safety and alertness as this is a safety-sensitive position.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Current RN license required.
- Experience is preferred, with a minimum of 2 years for advanced roles.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
