CT Technologist – Part Time

Summary:

Performs advanced CT procedures to acquire diagnostic images, supporting physicians in diagnosis and treatment.
Operates CT scanners, power injectors, and computer systems across multiple locations, ensuring protocols adhere to safety guidelines and dose management.
Maintains comprehensive knowledge of clinical histories, anatomy, and physiology to select appropriate protocols for various systems, including thoracic, abdominal, pelvic, neuro, and musculoskeletal.
Prepares and positions patients, ensuring safety and image quality, and performs CT interventional and advanced CTA procedures such as TAVR and EVAR.
Possesses strong understanding of pharmacology and physics to optimize scan quality and minimize patient dose.
Interprets technical factors to enhance scan efficiency and quality, complying with all policies and ensuring patient safety.
Requires graduation from a specialty training program and the ability to operate different CT systems effectively.
