Role Overview:
Performs advanced CT procedures to acquire diagnostic images, supporting physicians in diagnosis and treatment.
Ensures adherence to protocols based on clinical guidelines, anatomy, and safety standards, including dose monitoring.
Provides technical expertise in operating CT scanners, injectors, and computer systems across multiple locations.
Maintains knowledge of various CT systems, protocols, and major organ and vascular systems.
Prepares and positions patients properly, utilizing protective shielding and selecting appropriate technical factors.
Performs CT interventions and advanced imaging such as CTA, TAVR, EVAR, and cardiac studies.
Monitors pharmacology and physiology to optimize scan quality and patient safety.
Interprets technical factors to enhance scan quality and efficiency.
Ensures compliance with organizational policies and safety standards in a clinical setting.
