Role Overview: Performs computerized imaging procedures, monitors equipment, and assists patients and physicians as needed.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required; an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology is preferred.
Skills & Certifications: Knowledge of computer software and troubleshooting; ability to provide physical and psychological support to patients and accommodate limitations.
Licenses & Certifications: BLS from the American Heart Association or Red Cross; valid radiography, nuclear medicine, or radiation therapy licenses and ARRT or NMTCB certifications as specified. Within a year of hire, must obtain additional certifications in CT if applicable.
Experience: Less than one year in computerized imaging or a graduate of a post-secondary CT program; preferred experience includes one year in diagnostic imaging, nuclear medicine, radiation therapy, or MRI, and CT imaging experience.
