In this role, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced modalities such as CT, ensuring accurate diagnosis and patient care. Responsibilities include preparing patients and equipment, conducting studies independently, handling on-call and portable exams, and maintaining quality control.
Qualifications include:
- Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or CT
- Relevant experience in CT, Radiology, or Medical Imaging preferred; no experience required, but up to 2 years is advantageous
- Licenses such as RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, or RCES; IEMA certification for Illinois (excluding MRI)
Key skills: proficiency in diagnostic imaging procedures, patient preparation, equipment operation, and independent study execution.
