CT Technologist – Evening Shift

Role Overview: CT Technologists administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes, performing computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures to support diagnosis and interventions. They independently perform or assist with imaging procedures, ensuring accurate data acquisition and analysis for interpretation by licensed practitioners.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Obtain correct orders, properly identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and adhere to ALARA principles to ensure patient safety and care quality.
  • Prepare and/or administer medications via vascular access as prescribed, evaluate image quality, and verify data storage or transfer.
  • Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, assist with interventional procedures, and perform prescribed CT exams.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities and demonstrate commitment to departmental and organizational priorities.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB) with ARRT-CT specialty.
  • Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Proficiency in routine and complex duties, with a focus on patient safety, technical expertise, and collaborative teamwork.
