CT Technologist – Evening Shift

Role: CT Technologist I, with potential for advancement to CT Technologist II based on skills and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes.
  • Perform computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures, acquiring and analyzing data for diagnosis and intervention.
  • Prepare, administer, and document medications and radiation exposure following legal and institutional guidelines.
  • Ensure correct patient identification, proper preparation, and adherence to safety protocols while optimizing image quality and minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
  • Evaluate images for technical quality, verify data transfer/storage, and assist in interventional procedures.
  • Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, supporting ongoing training and collaboration.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Certification by the ARRT or NMTCB required; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment.
  • Ability to perform procedures independently and assist licensed practitioners.
  • Strong understanding of radiation safety, imaging protocols, and patient care.
  • Educational background in Radiologic Technology; a related bachelor’s degree is preferred.
