Role Overview:
This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced modalities such as CT on both adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis, treatment, and quality control. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, executes studies independently, and may handle on-call, portable, or site-specific exams.
Responsibilities:
- Perform imaging studies accurately and efficiently
- Ensure proper patient preparation and equipment setup
- Maintain quality control and safety standards
- Operate imaging equipment with proficiency and care
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s Degree or Trade School equivalency
- Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography (R.T.(R)) and/or CT
- Preferred experience in CT, radiology, or medical imaging (2+ years preferred)
- Licenses such as IEMA (Illinois), RTR, CT, MR, among others
- CPR and IV therapy certifications are advantageous
