Role: CT Technologist responsible for performing high-quality CT scans, ensuring patient safety, and delivering exceptional patient-centered care. Collaborates with radiologists, maintains accurate documentation, and serves as a mentor for students.
Responsibilities: Safely conduct CT exams following protocols, provide excellent customer service and patient education, maintain precise records in RIS and PACS, assist with workflow improvements, troubleshoot equipment, and uphold a clean, stocked environment.
Qualifications: Completion of an accredited 2-year Radiologic Technology Program, NYS Radiologic Technologist License, active ARRT registration, and BLS certification. CT certification or registry eligibility required within 12 months. Experience preferred but not mandatory.
Skills: Technical expertise in CT imaging, radiation safety, patient care, teamwork, and documentation proficiency.
