CT Technologist

Role Overview: This position involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily in Computed Tomography (CT), to support diagnosis and treatment for adult and pediatric patients. The technologist prepares patients and equipment, performs studies independently, including on-call and portable exams, and ensures quality control.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures.
  • Perform imaging studies accurately and efficiently, including specialized exams like CT Angiography.
  • Respond promptly to service requests from patients and physicians.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Associate degree or trade school certification in radiologic technology.
  • Licenses & Certifications such as RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES; IEMA license for Illinois (excluding MRI).
  • Preferred: ≥2 years of experience, CPR, intravenous therapy, and relevant certifications.
  • Ability to work independently and cross-train in CT (if registered as RT(R)).
