This role is for a CT Technologist responsible for delivering safe, high-quality imaging and ensuring a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures following department protocols, operate imaging equipment independently, and adjust techniques to maintain diagnostic accuracy while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA). Key duties include preparing patients, obtaining clinical histories, explaining procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety, administering contrast, and accurately capturing and reviewing images. You will also document studies properly in RIS/PACS systems, monitor patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and support departmental workflows. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program, and at least one year of radiology experience. Certifications such as ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT (Computed Tomography), and BLS are essential. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, patient communication, and the ability to work independently within a team are vital.
