CT Technologist
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) equipment while prioritizing patient safety, comfort, and care quality. Support the healthcare team by producing accurate CT images and ensuring proper patient positioning, preparation, and adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners to perform ordered diagnostic CT exams.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and effective communication throughout procedures.
- Prepare patients and equipment, including positioning and image quality checks.
- Follow radiation safety and departmental protocols at all times.
- Collaborate with clinicians and technologist team members to support patient care.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Certification/licensure as a CT Technologist (or equivalent) and strong knowledge of CT procedures.
- Solid understanding of radiation safety and imaging best practices.
- Strong patient care skills, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based clinical environment.
