Perform CT imaging procedures in an acute care hospital using CT equipment to support accurate patient diagnostic care.
Key Duties
- Operate CT scanners safely and effectively while adhering to imaging protocols.
- Capture and process diagnostic-quality images for patient evaluation.
- Use Epic to document procedures, review orders, and support patient care workflows.
- Ensure proper patient positioning, preparation, and comfort throughout imaging.
- Maintain radiation safety and follow established clinical and departmental standards.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to support timely diagnostic decision-making.
Qualifications & Skills
- Training and experience in CT imaging and related imaging procedures.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety, patient care practices, and clinical protocols.
- Ability to operate CT systems and troubleshoot routine operational issues.
- Proficiency with Epic for documentation and care coordination.
- Detail-oriented, patient-focused, and able to work effectively in a high-acuity environment.
