Role Overview: The CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced modalities such as CT, MRI, and others, on adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment. They prepare patients and equipment, and conduct studies independently, including on-call and portable exams.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients and equipment for procedures
- Perform imaging studies independently and as required
Qualifications:
- Associate or Trade School education
- Licenses & Certifications: IEMA (Illinois), RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES
- Preferred: <2 years experience, CPR, IV Therapy
- Willing to cross-train in CT if not already certified
Skills & Requirements: Strong technical skills, ability to work independently, and flexibility for call and holiday rotations. Certification in relevant imaging modalities is required or preferred.
