Position Overview:
Provides diagnostic Computed Tomography (CT) services to patients under the supervision of a radiologist, ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective imaging. The role involves patient positioning, performing scans using correct technical factors, and following departmental workflows for image acquisition, documentation, and archiving.
Responsibilities include:
Preparing patients and explaining procedures
Administering contrast media and initiating IVs in accordance with policies
Monitoring patient condition during scans
Ensuring accurate documentation, charging, and image quality
Maintaining supplies and patient confidentiality
Collaborating with team members and adhering to safety protocols
Qualifications:
Registered in Radiography (ARRT) and within 1 year, in CT (ARRT)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Licensed Radiologic Technologist with related education or certification
Accepts new graduates
