CT Technologist (Free-Standing Emergency Department)
Operate computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic images that support patient diagnosis and treatment decisions in a fast-paced emergency setting.
Key Duties
- Perform CT imaging procedures with speed and accuracy while maintaining image quality.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Follow established protocols for CT examinations, including appropriate patient positioning and preparation.
- Verify orders and communicate effectively with clinical staff to support timely care.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards and department procedures.
Qualifications
- Training and experience in CT imaging and operation of CT equipment.
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and patient care practices.
- Ability to work accurately in emergency workflows and handle changing priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail and effective communication skills.
