Role Overview:
Seeking a Clinical Triage Nurse to provide outpatient patient care in a Women’s Care/OBGYN setting. The position involves collaborating with healthcare providers to develop and implement care plans, assessing patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, and ensuring compliance with clinical protocols. The nurse supports providers by documenting assessments, educating patients, and promoting high-quality, cost-effective care. This safety-sensitive role requires critical thinking, patient advocacy, and adherence to standards.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and review care plans with PCPs and specialists to optimize health outcomes.
- Evaluate patient needs across physical, emotional, and psychosocial domains.
- Ensure clinical protocols and assessment guidelines are followed.
- Support documentation of patient assessments and treatment protocols.
- Provide patient education using appropriate tools and techniques, assessing understanding.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum of an Associate’s Nursing Diploma or RN license; BLS certification.
- 2-5 years of nursing experience; preferred Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with 5-10 years of experience.
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and patient advocacy skills.
