Role Overview: Responsible for coordinating and supervising nursing care on an assigned unit, ensuring high-quality, safe, and cost-effective patient care. Provides direct patient care, supervises staff, and supports staff development through mentorship and performance evaluations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervises nursing activities, manages staffing, and assists with orientation and performance management.
- Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Facilitates communication across team members and manages patient and family concerns.
- Supports evidence-based practices, mentors staff, and promotes a positive work environment aligned with Magnet principles.
- Assists in policy formulation, resource management, and incident follow-up.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current RN licensure and enrollment in or completion of a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Preferred experience in cardiac care and leadership roles.
- Strong communication, leadership, and clinical skills with a focus on patient safety and team collaboration.
